TACTICAL ARMZ SUPPRESSED BERETTA 92

There is a new SILENCER manufacturer about to quietly make some noise. This new manufacturer TACTICAL ARMZ has been in the SOUND SUPPRESSOR business for quite some time producing and designing weapon SILENCERS for “Special Projects”. Recently TACTICAL ARMZ a division of Lutheriecorp Inc was formed to offer SILENCERS to civilian markets. One of the thing that differentiates TACTICAL ARMZ  from competitors is cost. Due to efficient designs and manufacturing processes TACTICAL ARMZ is often able to provide SILENCERS at significantly lower prices than comparable competitive models while meeting or exceeding performance.

“With state of the art computer aided technology”, Moll says, “economy of scale is maximized while very tight tolerances can be held easily”. Going on, “There is absolutely no reason why a highly efficient, and superior quality can needs to cost an arm and a leg.”

Bill of TACTICAL ARMZ is available for discussion on the 308AR.com forum. Drop by and discuss your needs with him. or contact him directly at: Contact: Bill Moll tacarmz@sbcglobal.net

I was taking some pictures for a few of my other sites and I decided to grab a quick picture of the BLACKHAWK CQC SERPA for GLOCK 22. The holster and Glock look like they were made for each other.

COMP-TAC HOLSTERS

COMP-TAC HOLSTERS

Handguns Magazine’s February-March issue features the article “2011 Holster Guide” (http://www.handgunsmag.com/accessories/) in which Comp-Tac Victory Gear received top picks. Comp-Tac’s Minotaur MTAC was listed for inside the waistband and the Pro Competition Kit for outside the waistband holsters.

Comp-Tac’s MTAC is a leather and Kydex hybrid holster that features an interchangeable Kydex half-body mounted to a universal leather backing. The leather backing is composed of two pieces of top grain cowhide stitched back-to-back with the grain side out to achieve maximum comfort for the wearer and protection for the holstered firearm. This holster features two adjustable belt clips that allow the wearer to adjust the ride depth, the cant, and even change out the clip style depending on your carry needs. The MTAC is tuckable and is available with a black or chestnut leather backing.

Comp-Tac’s Pro Competition Kit comes with a Paddle Holster and Twin Magazine Pouch. The Paddle Holster rides close to the body and is used by both competition shooters and concealed carriers alike. The magazine carrier is available with either a belt clip mounting option or a paddle backing. Concealed handgun carriers enjoy the convenience of being able to put on/remove the gear and conceal it with minimal effort.

GLOCK TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS

MEPROLIGHT GLOCK TRU-DOT TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS

MEPROLIGHT GLOCK TRU-DOT TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS

I made it to the ripe old age of 44 without any ambition or desire for TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS for a Handgun or Rifle. Then last October I was visiting Hoffman’s Guns with a good friend. He was buying an AR-15 and I was just along for moral support. The story was kind of busy and my friend was taking his time chatting and filling out the forms for his rifle. In that time I started to look at the 1911’s. Next thing I knew I was dropping off $1800 on a KIMBER TACTICAL ENTRY II .45acp 1911.  So much for moral support.

This 1911 while not the best looking weapon it had all the right stuff that I look for with the addition of  TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS. In the six months that I have owned the KIMBER TACTICAL ENTRY II 1911 I have grown quite fond of the TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHTS. So much so I now have them on an AR-15 and my SIG SAUER P226 ENHANCED ELITE. This brings me to my current Dilemma. My brand new GLOCK 22. The GLOCK 22 has the plain Jane factory sights and they need to go. One problem though. I am a little bit overwhelmed at the TRITIUM NIGHT SIGHT options available for the GLOCK 22. Below is a list of the sights I am considering. You can read their specifications  here at Brownells.

  1. AMERIGLO
  2. MEPROLIGHT GLOCK TRU-DOT
  3. TRIJICON
  4. ARO-TEK
  5. TRUGLO
  6. EAI HOLDING, INC

Now here’s the thing. While I’m trying to decide exactly which set to purchase I thought I would let sight visitors chime in and give their opinion of the various models.
